This is the last Will and Testament
of me Andrew Crosse of Fyne
Court in the Parish of Broomfield in the County of Somerset Esquire. I
give unto my two Sons John Crosse and Robert Crosse, in token of my
sincere love and affection for them the following legacies namely to my
said Son John Crosse the Organ in my Music Room and all the Books in my
Library and to my Son Robert Crosse My Telescope and the sum of Nineteen
Guineas to be paid to him by my Executrix hereinafter named at the
expiration of six Calendar months next after my decease. I devise all and
singular my real estate and bequeath All the Residue of my personal
Estate and whatsoever and wheresoever unto my dear wife Cornelia
Augusta Hewett Crosse absolutely and I appoint her sole Executrix
of this my will and I hereby revoke all former Wills by me made. In
witness whereof I have hereunder set my my hand this thirtieth day of June
one thousand eight hundred and fifty five - Andrew Crosse - Signed
by the said Andrew Crosse the Testator as and for his last Will and
Testament in the presence of us present at the same time who at his
request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto
subscribed our names as witnesses - Witnesses - John Eagles A.M.[?]

Proved at London 4th August 1855 before the Judge by the oath of Cornelia Augusta Hewett Crosse Widow the Relict the sole Executrix to whom Admon was granted having been first sworn by Commission only to Administer. |
